1. Have a plan - 18-week marathon training plan

2. Add in some strength and stretching to prevent injury

3. Take rest days - they are there for a reason and you will want them

4. Get rid of food rules - remember, food equals fuel

5. Learn from myself by joining the Run on Plants Program and practice!
