It’s not your fault that we live in diet culture and unfortunately, live in a society where we still have an obesity problem.


Also, many plant based doctors (don’t get me wrong, they are great and I even highly look up to them), but a low fat WFPB diet is not what a runner/athlete should be doing to run their best.


Listen/read below to learn 4 tips to help you ditch the diet mindset once and for all.




4 Tips to Ditch the Diet Mindset

  1. Remember that food = fuel. You need food to fuel your body. Think about your body like a car. A car needs gas to run and you need food to run.

  2. Know that fueling your body properly will help your performance - learn the why. Why you need certain nutrients, why you need to fuel at certain times, etc.

  3. Listen to your hunger and eat consistently. No food is good or bad. Don’t feel guilty for anything you eat whether it is plant based or not.

  4. Surround yourself with those that fuel for performance - join FB groups (join the Plant Based Performance Community), listen this podcast or read this blog, or work with a Plant Based Dietitian Nutrition Coach like my self, and lastly, trust the process.
